A hiccup? A HICCUP? A homeless man walking right through a perimeter checkpoint and onto a regional jet is a hiccup? It's freakin ridiculous! I'm trying to figure out, more than anything, how he got onto a plane. It must've been a CRJ or something with airstairs, not hooked up to a jetbridge or anything and he opened to door and went inside. Boy oh boy!

This use to happen pre-911 every once in awhile. I remember reading about a kid who walke don to a an AA flight and sat down in F class and then got noticed cuz he wasnt on the manifest for F. .

That was some hiccup. An intruder gets onto airport property and makes his way onto a passenger plane. What would it be if he had planted a bomb, a bad cough?
The chief should be fired for making such a blatantly stupid remark.

It's only a hiccup because, fortunately, the man was not carrying any dangerous tooth paste. Just imagine what could've happened had he been in the posession of tooth paste!!!

Apparently the man was "hoping to get a ride to Chicago in one of the trucks parked at the airport." I'd assume he had in mind a ride on the Southwest bus.
How much you want to bet it was Neil Page (Steve Martin) trying to hike back to the terminal after Marathon Car Rental left him out in the parking with keys to a car that wasn't there.

Oh how true that statement is, I live in Santa Cruz and believe it or not a large number of the homeless street guys, are ex silicon valley guys who can still write code and show you how to make your laptop sing.
No I dont want to go there and up front response is that I find it very sad to find these people on the street but it is usually their choice bought about by use of chemical assistance!!! I work with some folks who will never ever be as inteligent as these guys who where, or still can be given the right incentive totally brilliant in there field.
